Zidane adds four Castilla players to Real Madrid squad roster to face Getafe

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has added Castilla players Sergio Arribas, Pablo Ramon, Miguel Gutierrez and Antonio Blanco to the roster for Sunday’s away game against Getafe.

All four played 90 minutes against Talavera de la Reina this Saturday, meaning they won’t start for Real Madrid tonight and have only been added to the roster for depth purposes. Keep in mind that the team’s initial roster only had four defenders and four available midfielders, so Los Blancos would have been in trouble if injuries occurred during the game.

Zidane will likely play Odriozola, Militao, Chust and Marcelo in defense with Valverde, Kroos and Modric in midfield. Real Madrid have a bit more depth ahead and Rodrygo could give Vinicius, Benzema or Asensio a rest after a very difficult week of games for Madrid.

Los Blancos need to go about business and beat Getafe if they are to continue to pressure Atletico Madrid for the title.
