Youth League slams League leadership siraj daily

Kozhikode | At the first secretariat meeting of the Youth League held after the assembly elections, there was strong criticism against the leadership of the Muslim League. Participants in the state secretariat blamed the party’s high-powered committee for the election defeat. Some high-powered committee members act as directors of a private limited company. The party needs to be thoroughly dismantled. The current practice is to intimidate supporters and appease protesters. Only five or six leaders make all the decisions. Youth League leaders said it was still unacceptable.

The Youth League also blamed the leadership for failing in the Kundamangalam, Pattambi, Thiruvambadi and Perambra seats.

Meanwhile, a section of leaders have expressed dissatisfaction with the leadership for not discussing the party’s setback months after the election results came out. Their main criticism is that a high – level committee of five or six leaders of the league decides things without consultation. They also say that this has affected the organizational structure of the league.
