Vadakara> A young man who miraculously rescued a worker from the Uralungal Labor Contract Co-operative Society who fell head over heels from the first floor of the Vadakara Edoti branch of the Kerala Bank will be given a job in the society. Baburaj, a native of Vadakara, will get the job. The announcement was made by Ramesan Paleri, chairman of the society, at a function organized in honor of Baburaj, a brick worker. The Chairman also presented a gift to Baburaj at a function held at the Uralungal Society headquarters.
The incident took place on the 18th. Binu, a native of Aroor, who was leaning against the handrail of the first floor veranda, suddenly turned back. Baburaj, who was standing nearby, grabbed Binu’s leg by lightning and rescued him. Other people who were there and Gunman Fun at the bank came to the rescue. Everyone dragged Binu and laid him on the veranda. He was rushed to a hospital where he was treated. The footage, which was captured on CCTV, quickly went viral.
