Williamson regains top spot in ICC Test rankings

Dubai: New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has returned to the top of the ICC Test rankings. His performance against England just before the final of the Test Championship helped him. Williamson, who scored 49 in the first innings, remained unbeaten on 52 in the second innings. Williamson scored 101 in two innings.

Williamson has a rating of 901. The 30-year-old is crossing 900 for the first time. Williamson is 10 points behind second-placed Australian Steve Smith. Before the Test championship final, Williamson had dropped to second. His performance in the Test series against England helped him.
