Will he play for free? Look at the Square Enix storefront

Square Enix has announced a digital showcase, and fans are thrilled with the reveal of Life Is Strange 3. However, far from the upcoming Life Is Strange episode and Tomb Raider 25th anniversary news, many people are wondering: Marvel’s Avengers game is it being free to play? Here you’ll find out how to watch the Square Enix Presents storefront on March 18 to see the superhero title announcements.

We know that a free PS5 and Xbox Series X upgrade will be released on March 18 for owners of the superhero game. This release date also marks the arrival of the highly anticipated Hawkeye DLC, as well as the unfortunate news that XP grind is going to be increased.

While the above is both bad and good, below you’ll find out how to watch the Square Enix Presents showcase as fans wonder if Marvel’s Avengers will go free.

How to view the Square Enix Presents storefront

You can watch the Square Enix Presents storefront on March 18 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.

This means that you will be able to watch the Square Enix Presents storefront on YouTube or Twitch at 1:00 p.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. GMT.

Here is the list of what to expect:

  • All new life is strange
  • Outriders
  • Marvel’s Avengers
  • Tomb Raider 25th anniversary
  • New Square Enix Montreal Games
  • Just Cause Mobile
  • Balan’s Wonderland

As you can see from the list above, there will be no news regarding Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2.

Tomb Raider’s 25th anniversary will likely only be the Survivor trilogy that leaked on the Microsoft store.

Of course, the big news for many is in Life Is Strange 3, but there are also plenty of others who are hoping the Marvel’s Avengers game can be saved.

Is Marvel Going To Play For Free?

Square Enix hasn’t said anything about Marvel’s Avengers going free.

However, many fans are predicting that Marvel’s Avengers could go free-to-play thanks to the upcoming increase in its XP grind.

Not only that, but the player base has also shrunk considerably, meaning that the lack of a registration fee could entice many newcomers to join the show.

This would then allow Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics to potentially earn money through microtransactions as well as DLC.

We don’t know what the future holds for the game, but Crystal Dynamics spoke briefly about their drive to create a roadmap.

A long list of DLC characters has already been leaked with characters like She-Hulk, and we know Spider-Man will arrive in 2021 as a PlayStation exclusive.

Hopefully the game can make a resurgence, but even playing for free wouldn’t solve its repeat issues, and there are plenty of other top free games available such as Warzone and Fortnite.
