Volkswagen has unveiled the 2021 Polo facelift around the world, with many updates. Presales of the new Polo are expected to start from May.
The facelift of the Volkswagen Polo 2021 has been unveiled around the world. The popular Polo hatchback now comes with a mid-cycle facelift, with a number of design and feature updates and additional equipment.
The new facelift version of the sixth generation Volkswagen Polo will be offered in four variants: Polo, Life, Style and R-Line.
Entry-level versions of the Polo 2021 come with standard LED headlights, LED taillights, 8.0-inch digital cockpit, 6.5-inch monitor with user interface. Bluetooth pairing and 14 inch alloy wheels (15 inch optional).
The more upscale Polo-style trim comes with new IQ LED matrix headlights with LED daytime running lights that extend across the sleek grille. It is now also fitted with LED fog lights, a distinctive chrome-look crossbar, 14-inch (15-inch Ronda alloy wheels optional and standard LED taillights.
The top-of-the-range Volkswagen Polo R-Line is the sporty variant on offer and also includes a few additional elements. These include an air intake and diffuser in a gloss black finish, integrated exhaust panels in the chrome look, and larger 16-inch Valencia alloy wheels.
The interior of the new Volkswagen Polo has also received a major update. The 2021 version of the popular sedan now comes with a digital instrument panel and a large touchscreen infotainment head unit with the brand’s “ Ready2Discover ” system, offering a wireless connection and navigation system. The new Polo also comes with premium padding, a steering wheel with mounted controls, heated and electrically adjustable ORVMs and many more.
Volkswagen has yet to reveal the technical specifications for the 2021 Polo hatchback. However, given that it is a mid-cycle facelift, it is expected to carry the same engine and transmission options as before. .
