Thiruvananthapuram: Loknath Behra has retired from the post of state police chief. Behra retired from public service after 36 years of service. The DGP received the parade at the farewell parade held at the Peroorkada SAP ground. In his farewell address, Behra said that the Kerala Police was number one and thanked those who stood by it.
Lok Nath Behra is retiring with the distinction of being the only person to have served in all four posts as DGP, Director of State Police, Director of Vigilance, Chief of Prisons and Chief of Fire Force. Lok Nath Behra said he was satisfied that modern technology could be used in all areas of the police, including case investigations.
Depressions are not seen as depressions. He is the one who evaluates it and moves on. In his farewell speech, Behra thanked Kerala for its love and reiterated that he was a Malayalee. The function was attended by senior police officials.
