The Government of India recently announced the start of phase 3 of the mass vaccination campaign in the country amid the sharp rise in COVID-19 cases. All citizens over the age of 18 will now be eligible for vaccination from May 1.
MyGovIndia tweeted that Phase 3 will start May 1 and registrations for vaccination will soon start with the CoWIN platform and the Aarogya Setu app.
Previously, only citizens over 45 were allowed to be vaccinated. Users should register for the vaccine online before going to hospitals and getting vaccinated for the first time.
