The QR code for the public on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard is black. This QR code will be the visitor’s access to downtown Dubai on New Years Eve and can be used for free through the U By Emaar app. The area will be dotted with tents for first aid, lost and found assistance, while access to ambulances will also be provided to those showing the QR code and accessing the viewing areas of downtown Dubai by one of the five gates erected.

The color of the QR code is dark red for Dubai Opera, gold for hotel guests, light blue for restaurants and eateries and each guest attending the New York Gala must have one of the six colors of the QR code.
