Three journalists shot dead in Afghanistan: Taliban linked

Kabul: Journalists attacked again in Afghanistan. Terrorists shot dead three journalists. The incident took place in Jalalabad, eastern Afghanistan. Journalists Mursal Hakimi, Sadia and Shanas were killed. They were working for Enikas TV in Afghanistan.

The terrorists opened fire on them while they were returning from work the previous day. One person who was present at the incident was seriously injured. Police have arrested a man suspected of involvement in the murder. He has also been linked to the Taliban. But the Taliban have not confirmed any involvement in the killings.

There have been a number of recent attacks on journalists in Afghanistan. Recently, a vehicle carrying journalists and civilian officials was bombed by Taliban militants. In November 2020, two journalists were killed in two separate bombings.
