The party is the captain; Communists are not fascinated by personal worship; P Jayarajan with Oliyampu against Pinarayi

Kannur: Former Kannur district secretary P Jayarajan lit a torch against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. In a post on his Facebook page, Jayarajan said that the party is the captain and that the communists are not the ones who admire personal worship. Earlier, when the Facebook page called PJ Army came up, the Chief Minister and others had come out in public. Under pressure, Jayarajan had to reject the PJ Army.

When people are close, they show affection in many ways. Some people like to write songs, some people like to take photos, some people like to get tattooed. However, communists are not fond of personal worship. As Comrade Kodiyeri replied to the question of the media persons, ‘everyone is comrades’ in this party. The party is the captain. Jayarajan says in the post that the people’s assurance is not the individuals but the party and the Left.

P Jayarajan’s statement came after Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan made it clear at a press conference today that there was no confusion in the captain’s call and that people would call many according to their interests. P Jayarajan is a leader who had earlier taken action following a personal pooja controversy. The action was taken after singing a song praising Jayarajan.
