Kollam: NK Premachandran MP joined the war of words between Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and KPCC President K Sudhakaran. Premachandran said on social media that he was convinced that the debate, in which the KPCC president had loudly proclaimed that the Chief Minister was the face of political fascism that would eliminate the politics of dissent by any means, was the mandate of the times. Not to mention that this special ‘action’ of the Chief Minister was from the hearts of the people who were languishing in the Kovid epidemic. He said that the inflated artificial image of the new generation as the guardian of care through PR management has been shattered in Kerala.

I believe that the war of words between the Chief Minister and the KPCC President has serious political dimensions beyond personal accusations. I firmly believe that this debate, in which the KPCC President has loudly proclaimed that the Chief Minister is the face of political fascism that will eliminate the politics of dissent by any means, is the mandate of the times.
Kerala was shocked by the controversial press conference held by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who came to power after gaining succession and making history, using the Kovid platform. Kerala was embarrassed when it saw the Chief Minister taking 28 minutes to describe the violent incidents he had committed in campus politics as heroic history. The demise of the Chief Minister of 3.5 crore people has shattered the hopes of the people. Not to mention that this special ‘action’ of the Chief Minister was from the hearts of the people who were languishing in the Kovid epidemic.
The revelations made by KPCC President K Sudhakaran in his reply to the Chief Minister show the depth of criminalization in politics. Subsequent revelations made by Shaji, the son of Pandyala Gopalan Master, froze the political conscience of Kerala. True fascism is the political hegemony that creates a frightening political atmosphere by evicting and barraging dissidents for power politics. This fascist politics of banning electricity and Petromax from the funerals of the slain and establishing the dominance of the abolitionist ideology is a sham.
The depth of concern is heightened when a party representing such politics continues to rule with a brutal majority. K. Sudhakaran’s revelation in Kerala reveals that it is very dangerous politics for a person who is directly involved in criminal actions to physically eliminate political opponents to remain in power as a dictator, disregarding the party and the government, disregarding all capable leaders and colleagues.
The inflated artificial image that was presented to the new generation as the guardian of care through well-organized PR management has collapsed in Kerala. Democratic progressive minds will recognize in the not-too-distant future the party establishments, the wealth of billions and the lavish life it provides through the work done with the shoulders of the capitalist powers in the hands of class interests. The intervention of the new KPCC president marks the beginning of that mission.
