I firmly believe that this debate, in which the KPCC President has loudly proclaimed that the Chief Minister is the face of political fascism that will eliminate the politics of dissent by any means, is the mandate of the times.
Kerala was shocked by the controversial press conference held by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who came to power after gaining succession and making history, using the Kovid platform. Kerala was embarrassed when it saw the Chief Minister taking 28 minutes to describe the violent incidents he had committed in campus politics as heroic history. The demise of the Chief Minister of 3.5 crore people has shattered the hopes of the people. Not to mention that this special ‘action’ of the Chief Minister was from the hearts of the people who were languishing in the Kovid epidemic.
The revelations made by KPCC President K Sudhakaran in his reply to the Chief Minister show the depth of criminalization in politics. Democratic progressive minds will recognize in the not-too-distant future the party establishments, the wealth of billions and the lavish life it provides through the work done with the shoulders of the capitalist powers in the hands of class interests. The intervention of the new KPCC president marks the beginning of that mission.
