Team begin preparations for Liverpool clash

Real Madrid will play the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium (Tuesday, 9 p.m. CET).

Following the victory against Eibar, the team completed their first training session at Real madrid city before Liverpool’s visit to the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final (Tuesday, 9 p.m. CET). The session took place under strict health regulations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The players who started against Éibar did continuous work and trained inside the facilities. The rest of the group performed warm-up exercises and exercises without a ball. They then did a series of possession and pressing drills, before ending the session with games on smaller pitches. Dani Carvajal and Fede Valverde did specific training exercises in the field, while Sergio Ramos continued its recovery process.
