Jahaan, a fifteen-year-old son, expressed his wish to become an actor, in one of the episodes of the Netflix show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. However, he added that he could not speak Hindi.

Jahaan had told his cousin Arjun Kapoor on the show that he wanted to be an actor. When asked if he could speak Hindi, he replied, “I’m learning more, but not really.”

Speaking to Rajeev Masand, Maheep had defended his son and told him, “Honestly, first of all, you don’t think so much. He speaks Hindi, let me be very clear to everyone. Season two, if that happens he will speak Hindi Shuddh to silence everyone. I didn’t think so much, the conversation was just flowing. Like I said, the trolls are going to say something or the other. I always support one thing, I am really upset when it comes to my kids. I can’t take care of it. “

Meanwhile, Shanaya will soon make her Bollywood debut in Karan Johar’s Dharma Production.
