Saudi Arabia cracks down on non-compliance with repatriation laws

Saudi Ministry of Human Resource Development tightens action against non-compliant companies In the past week, more than 2,000 companies have been fined for violating the law. The action was taken during a field inspection conducted by the ministry.

Ministry officials have stepped up inspections as part of efforts to ensure that repatriation is carried out as directed by the ministry. Ministry officials said more than a quarter of a million inspections had been completed in the past week in various parts of the country.

However, officials explained that 90 per cent of the institutions have fully implemented the instructions given by the ministry. Lightning tests will continue in the coming days to ensure that the native ratio is strictly adhered to.
