Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy M42, its first mid-range 5G smartphone in India, later this month, which will be priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000, industry sources said on Monday. .
The Galaxy M42 will be the first “ M ” series smartphone with 5G connectivity.
Industry sources have said that the IANS Galaxy M42 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor and is expected to launch in 6 and 8 GB RAM variants.
The Galaxy M42 will also receive “Knox Security”, the first for a Galaxy “M” smartphone.
Samsung Knox provides multi-layered security for smartphones and defends the most sensitive information against malware and malicious threats.
The Galaxy M42 5G will be available on Amazon.in and Samsung.com, in addition to select retail channels.
