Samsung is targeting certain sports enthusiasts with its new special Adidas Originals Galaxy Buds Pro pack. The headphones will go on sale in South Korea from April 7. Priced at KRW 279,000, the set of earphones includes the Galaxy Buds Pro, an Adidas Originals snapback case and a coupon to purchase the Adidas Stan Smith sneakers. The packaging design is also different here with the Adidas branded exhibition box shaped box with white and green colors. The case inside is shaped like a cap in the same two-tone color.
As mentioned by Sammobile, the Galaxy Buds Pro Special Edition allows for a custom Adidas Originals theme when connected to a Galaxy smartphone. This includes a personalized lock screen, icons, call screen and messages screen on the handset. In addition, you can also see a quick access icon, tapping on which will take you to the official Adidas online store.
The special edition also indicates the company’s green efforts. Even the snapback case is made from recycled plastic. It is also mentioned that the Galaxy Buds Pro also use 20% environmentally friendly post-consumer material (PCM).
“We are planning this special pack for consumers who seek value consumption, especially the MZ generations who are interested in sustainable products and fashions, and we will continue to strengthen Galaxy’s unique ecological ecosystem through a meaningful collaboration with various brands in the future, ”the company said.
Meanwhile, Samsung launched two new F series smartphones in India – Galaxy F02s and Galaxy F12. These fall into the sub- ₹15,000 segments and will take the likes of Xiaomi and Realme.
