According to Omdia, Samsung shipped 23.2 million units of the Galaxy A51 in 2020 to earn the top spot in the Android phone list. The world’s best-selling smartphone was the iPhone 11. The Top 10 Smartphone list includes five Android phones and five iPhones. Of the five Android phones, four were from Samsung and one was from Xiaomi. According to Omdia, Apple shipped 64.8 million iPhone 11 units in 2020. This is the second year in a row that an iPhone has been the best-selling smartphone in the world.
As for the Samsung Galaxy A51, it sells for Rs 20,999 in India. The Samsung Galaxy A51 sports a 6.5-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with 1080x2400p resolution. Powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 processor, the device houses a 4000mAh battery which is said to provide up to 15 hours of internet usage. For imaging tasks, the Galaxy A51 has a 32MP camera in a perforated design on the front and a quad-camera setup on the rear that includes a 48MP sensor (f / 2.0 aperture), a 12MP sensor (f / 2.2 aperture), 5MP sensor (f / 2.4 aperture), 5MP sensor (f / 2.2 aperture).
