The Ford EcoSport SE will not have a tailgate-mounted spare tire, which matches the EcoSport sold in global markets. In fact, the report claims that the SE will not have a spare tire at all when it leaves the factory.
In February 2021, we reported that Ford had started shipping a new variant of the Ecosport called the SE to dealerships, which would ship without a tailgate-mounted spare tire. Now, according to a media report, pricing for the Ford EcoSport SE will be announced by March 10, 2021. The news comes just after the company released a Bollywood-themed teaser for the vehicle yesterday.
As previously mentioned, the Ford EcoSport SE will not receive a tailgate-mounted spare tire, which corresponds to the EcoSport sold in global markets. In fact, the report claims that the SE will not have a spare tire at all when it leaves the factory. Instead, it will receive a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and a puncture repair kit.
