Bangalore: The Karnataka government has given a slight relaxation in travel restrictions for people coming from Kerala. The new order states that RTPCR negative certificates are not mandatory for those who have taken the first dose of the vaccine.
The order issued yesterday said that those who have received two doses of the vaccine can come to Karnataka with a vaccine certificate and those who have taken a single dose must have a negative certificate.
The respective district administrations have also been directed to tighten inspections at all places like airports, railway stations and district boundaries. Since last day, inspections have been tightened at district boundaries in Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu and Chamarajanagar.
Health professionals and children under the age of two do not need an RTPCR negative certificate in addition to those who have received two doses of the vaccine.
