Realme announces the launch date of the Realme 8 smartphone series – mobiles news

Smartphone brand Realme has been teasing the launch of its Realme 8 series for quite some time. It has now revealed the launch date for the upcoming series.

According to a tweet shared by the official Realme India Twitter account, the Realme 8 series phones will launch on March 24.

“With a #DareToLeap spirit, our CEO @MadhavSheth defied the odds and took the #LeapToInfinity. The next benchmark in the smartphone industry is almost here. It doesn’t get any clearer than that. Stay tuned for March 24, ”says Realme India post.

Realme 8 series: what to expect

Realme is expected to launch two smartphones under the series: Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. Company CEO Madhav Sheth shared the image of Realme 8’s retail box earlier this month.

According to the image of the shared box, the smartphone will have a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display. It will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 processor and feature a four rear camera setup.

The phone will offer a 64 MP main camera and be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery. The device will be equipped with 30W Dart Charge support.

Realme has also confirmed that Realme 8 Pro will ship with a 108 MP main camera with Samsung HM2 sensor. The handset will also come with a quad rear camera setup and offer features like Starry time-lapse video and three different portrait modes.
