The footage of a railway employee saving the life of a child who fell into a track while walking with his mother went viral. The incident took place at a railway station in Mumbai. The boy was walking with his mother on the platform, falling onto the platform and a railway employee rescuing the child was caught on CCTV at the railway station. The footage went viral on social media and many people came forward praising the employee. Following this, Union Railway Minister Piyush Goel also congratulated the employee.

The incident took place at Mumbai’s Wangani railway station. Mayur Shelke, who works as a railwayman there, came like a god and pulled the child off the track and saved his life. Sharing Shelke’s adventurous rescue on Facebook, the Union Minister said, “I am proud of you, Shelke.”

The Railway Minister said that he had spoken as Shelke and appreciated his courage. “The entire Indian Railways is proud of you,” he said, adding that Shelke’s work could not be compared to an award or money. However, the minister said in a video that he would reward those who inspire humanity through his work.

The boy is walking on the railway station platform holding his mother’s hand, slowly approaching the railway track and falling from the platform to the track.
