Passengers coming to Bahrain must pay BD30 for coronavirus test

Bahrain covid test

Manama: The Ministry of Health has asked all passengers arriving in Bahrain from midnight on July 21 to bear the cost of the Kovid test themselves. Checks at the airport cost 30 Bahraini dinars.

Passengers have to pay in advance before boarding the flight through the mobile app ‘Be Aware’. This will complete the process faster. The ministry said electronic payments and cash payments using credit cards will be allowed at the airport.

Flight attendants, diplomats and other official travelers are not required to pay. And those who travel for medical purposes do not have to pay.

Those arriving in Bahrain from abroad must travel to Quarantine for 10 days at their own expense.
