The Oppo Reno 6 series has now reportedly started showing up on certification sites, suggesting that the upcoming lineup is currently in the works. The phones have been spotted on 3C and MIIT with a few specs, and a Chinese tipster has also leaked key details of the upcoming series, including processors and number of models in the lineup. The tipster suggests that the Oppo Reno 6 series may include three phones – Oppo Reno 6, Oppo Reno 6 Pro, and Oppo Reno 6 Pro +.
The Oppo Reno 6 range may have been spotted on the 3C certification site with model numbers PEPM00, PEXM00, and PDNM00. The certification site states that the phones can support 65W fast charging. The model number PEPM00 should belong to Oppo Reno 6, and it was also listed on 3C, with a refresh rate of 90Hz and the SoC MediaTek Dimensity 1200. The phone is listed to run on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11, with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The Oppo Reno 6 MIIT listing also shows images that suggest the phone may have a triple rear camera setup. These phones were first spotted on these certification sites by GSMArena and tipster Abhishek Yadav.
Additionally, tipster Bald Panda shared key specs for Oppo Reno 6 phones on Weibo. Oppo Reno 6 is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, Oppo Reno 6 Pro can be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, while the high-end Oppo Reno 6 Pro + can be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.
The tipster also claims that Oppo Reno 6 and Oppo Reno 6 Pro may feature screen refresh rates of 90Hz, while Oppo Reno 6 Pro + may feature refresh rate of 120Hz. All phones should support. 65W fast charging and a Sony IMX789 sensor could also be integrated into the series.
Other than these, little is known about the Oppo Reno 6 series to date, and the company hasn’t made any announcements regarding its launch either.
