Oppo is launching its next flagship phone, the Find X3 Pro worldwide on March 11. The phone will succeed last year’s Oppo Find X2 Pro. Ahead of the launch, the brand shared a few specs for the upcoming phone, including that the device will be the first in the world to feature a billion colors.
While there’s no word on a vanilla Oppo Find X3 just yet, it looks like the Pro version will be the only phone to launch on March 11. Here’s everything you need to know about the Oppo Find X3 Pro before launch.
Confirmed specifications of the Oppo Find X3 Pro
Oppo shared that the Find X3 Pro will feature a new 10-bit full-path color management system that will deliver colors that are rich, evocative and lifelike visual experiences from capture to encoding, storage, decoding and on display. “.
The flagship Find X3 Pro will also sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and will therefore be enabled for 5G. Oppo also revealed that the phone will come with an HDR certified display with high refresh rate support.
A recent leak suggests that the Oppo Find X3 Pro could run Android 11-based ColorOS 11.2. It may feature a 6.7-inch QHD + resolution AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ certification.
Under the hood, we could see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It’s unclear if we’ll see multiple storage variants of the phone.
For the camera, we could consider a 50 MP (F / 1.8) main sensor, along with another 50 MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 13 MP periscope lens, and a 5 MP macro lens. Up front, the Oppo Find X3 Pro is expected to sport a single 32MP camera.
The Oppo Find X3 Pro may also come with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. Since it could feature an AMOLED display, the likelihood of an in-built fingerprint sensor The screen is also high. Other expected specs include a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.2 support, NFC certification, and IP68 against the elements.
The Oppo Find X3 Pro launches on March 11 at 6:30 a.m. ET (5:00 p.m. IST). The launch will be broadcast live on the brand’s YouTube channel.
