The Oppo F19 Pro and Pro + went on sale in India last month, but their vanilla sibling is a bit late to the party – the Oppo F19 is only now arriving in the country and will go through a very short period of time. preorder (just a few days).
The Oppo F19 arrives in India this week
The suggested retail price is set at INR 21,000, but as is often the case, a discount is already applied, so the current price is INR 19,000 (USD 260 / € 220). It is only slightly below the F19 Pro (21,500 INR) and the F19 Pro + (23,500 INR). Note that the Pro + is currently closer to INR 26,000 at the moment.
Like its siblings, the Oppo F19 can be found on Flipkart (which will start shipping units April 8, Thursday) and Amazon (ship April 9, Friday). Physical stores will also carry the phone. So how does the F19 stack up against its Pro siblings?
Well, it’s a 4G phone like the Pro (only the Pro + does 5G). And it’s the only one with a Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 662, with 6 GB of RAM and 128 G of storage (plus a microSD slot). The screen is a 6.43-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 1080p + (60Hz), identical to the other two (the Pro + has GG5 protection).
The 33W charger can fill the 5000mAh battery to 54% in 30 min. • 48 MP main camera (1080p video)
The 48 MP main camera has the same lens and sensor, but the ultra wide-angle module is gone. This leaves only two 2 MP modules, macro and depth. The non-Pro model also lost the ability to record 4K videos. It has the largest battery of the three, 5000mAh, and it offers 33W fast charging (the Pro is 30W).
Oppo F19 colors: Prism Black • Midnight Blue
You can find a side-by-side comparison here. Note that the Oppo A74 (4G), which was discreetly unveiled yesterday, is identical to the F19. It’s a regional thing, the A74 goes to the Philippines and Cambodia, the F19 to India and Sri Lanka.
