OnePlus 9 Pro specifications spotted on Geekbench


The OnePlus 9 Pro specifications appeared on Geekbench ahead of the phone’s launch in India on March 23. The company has already started teasing the launch of the OnePlus 9 series and has confirmed a few details as well as the design and specifications of the camera. The company has partnered with Hasselblad for the cameras for the next flagship series. Now, the main OnePlus 9 Pro specs have been spotted on Geekbench. The OnePlus LE2115 smartphone is believed to be the OnePlus 9 Pro model and the benchmarking site reveals details of chipset, RAM and software.

OnePlus 9 Pro coming with Snapdragon 888 SoC and 12GB RAM

Geekbench OnePlus 9 Pro

According to the Geekbench list Point by tipster Mukul Sharma, the Oneplus 9 Pro will come with a chipset named “lahaina”. This is the Snapdragon 888 processor, which should not only power the Pro model, but the vanilla OnePlus 9 as well. Additionally, the OnePlus 9 Pro will come with 12GB of RAM, which is expected to be the high-end variant. The smartphone will run on Android 11 as expected.

OnePlus 9 series specifications

OnePlus teased the design of the OnePlus 9 Pro, revealing a gray color option and a rectangular camera module. The smartphone will come with a four-camera system and OnePlus has confirmed that the setup will include a 50 MP Sony IMX766 ultra-wide sensor. The other three cameras may include a 48MP IMX789 main camera, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP sensor.

The OnePlus 9 Pro is also slated to ship with a QHD + 120Hz display. The Geekbench listing has apparently confirmed the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset and up to 12GB of RAM. The 12GB RAM variant could come with 256GB internal memory, and the phone can support 65W fast charging solution. Other features like 5G support, wireless charging fast wire, stereo speakers and IP rating are also expected. We hope to learn more about the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro in the coming days.
