Odisha government imposes 7-day home isolation for travelers from 12 states

The Odisha government has announced that travelers from 12 states will have to undergo 7-day home isolation. The announcement comes after an upsurge in covid cases in various states.

According to an ANI tweet, Odisha Govt has made 7-day home isolation mandatory for travelers from Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Punjab , Delhi, Chandigarh, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh to the state. , given the current COVID situation in those states.

On Thursday, the state government announced that travelers from all 12 states will be required to pass a heat screening.

Those showing symptoms of Covid-19 will be tested by rapid on-site antigen testing. If they are found positive, they will be isolated and treated according to protocol, Department of Health and Family Welfare Additional Chief Secretary PK Mohapatra said.
