Christchurch: LowNew Zealand cricketer Tim Southee bids for the jersey he wore when he defeated India in the final of the Test Championship. Southee’s Mercy Year is about the treatment of eight – year – old Holly Betty, who has been diagnosed with cancer. Holly Betty is an eight-year-old girl with a severe form of cancer called neuroblastoma. Holly and her father John are currently in Spain for specialist treatment.

Southee was to go directly to the scene to find the money needed for the child’s treatment. The sports world is clapping as the arms of mercy are stretched out for South Betty. Southee’s jerseys were signed by all 15 players in the squad for the World Test Championship final. The jersey auction is progressing online. The auction is open until 1.45pm on July 8th. Currently, the auction price has risen to US $ 43,200 (over Rs 32 lakh).
