Mumbai: Chennai Super Kings accept England all-rounder Moin Ali’s demand to remove liquor company logo from his jersey. Moin Ali’s demand was based on religious reasons.
Moin Ali does not allow the liquor company logo on his jersey, whether on the England team’s jersey or in other domestic league jerseys. The SNJ 10000 logo on the Chennai Super Kings jersey will be removed from Moin Ali’s jersey.
Chennai Super Kings have acquired Moin Ali for Rs 7 crore this season. Chennai is the second franchise in the IPL to be played by Moin Ali. Moin Ali has been playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore since 2018. Moin Ali remained in Bangalore for three seasons.
The English all-rounder has played 19 IPL matches so far. He scored 309 runs and took 10 wickets. Moin Ali had recently said that he was looking forward to playing under Dhoni’s captaincy in Chennai.
