Mauro Icardi scored an added time winner for PSG with Angel Di Maria providing the assist.
Icardi’s goal, Di Maria assists as Rosario’s two men team up to help give Mauricio Pochettino’s side the three points. Five goals in the second half or even five goals in the last 20 minutes including two in added time provided all the late drama.
Angel Di Maria and Mauro Icardi both started the game on the bench for PSG and were second-half substitutes. It was St-Etienne who took the lead 1-0 but Kylian Mbappe would equalize two minutes later. It was again Mbappe who would score in the 87th minute to give PSG the advantage 2-1. St-Etienne would equalize in the 92nd minute, which seemed to be the final score.
However, there were two Argentines on the pitch who were going to play a part in the game. PSG got a corner kick and it was Angel Di Maria who took it when the 33-year-old center found Mauro Icardi and the Argentine would put the ball in the net to give PSG the 3-2 victory. The victory means PSG are one point behind league leaders Lille, with both teams having played the same number of matches.
