Manju Warrier’s ‘Chaturmukham’ to be screened at Bifan Korean Film Festival | Cinema | Deshabhimani

Kochi: The first techno horror film in Malayalam “Chaturmukham” has been selected for the 25th Buchan International Film Festival. This is a festival for films in the best horror, mystery and fantasy genres from different countries. 258 films from 47 countries have been selected for the festival, including ‘The Media’, co-directed by Na Hongjin, director of the famous Korean film The Wailing, and Banchong Pisanthanakun, director of the horror film ‘Shutter’. A total of three films from India are in the festival. The other two films are Lord Solomon’s’ Hathi Mera Saathi ‘and Mihir Fadnavis’ Chewing Gum. The quadrangle is on display in the World Funrest Red category.

Chaturmukham, directed by Ranjith Kamala Shankar and Salil V, was released on April 8 in Kerala. The film received good reviews and critical acclaim. Abhayakumar K and Anil Kurian co-wrote the screenplay for “Chaturmukham” starring Manju Warrier, Sunny Wayne and Alanzier.

The film is produced by Jiz Toms and Justin Thomas under the banner of Jiz Toms Movies and Manju Warrier Productions. The cinematography is by Abhinandan Ramanujam.
