Today, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were spotted at Mumbai Airport boarding a flight to the most beloved crown-era holiday destination, the Maldives. The couple recently recovered from the coronavirus, having tested positive earlier this month. They are expected to make the most of the lockdown period as shootings have been halted in the city due to a 15-day curfew.
The couple were typed as they headed towards Mumbai Airport and were seen pairing up in white. Alia was seen sporting a comfortable casual look with the handsome Ranbir. She was wearing a neon top and a white button-down jacket on it. She paired this with comfortable white wide leg pants and sheer heels. On the other hand, Ranbir kept it casual with a white t-shirt and sturdy denim jeans. The couple were careful about safety and wore black masks.
Not long ago, Alia contacted the virus after Ranbir recovered from it. She tested positive for the virus on April 2 and recovered shortly after returning home from quarantine. A few days earlier, she had even shared the news via social media. She uploaded her sunny pic in a blue sweatshirt and pink pajamas and wrote “the only time being negative is a good thing” in the caption.
Meanwhile, Alia is groomed for her most anticipated film Gangubai Kathiawadi. She will be seen playing the main character of Gangubai is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dream project. The film will tell the story of the life of a woman who came to Mumbai with her partner and was forced into prostitution. Later, she became a famous figure among the people for raising women and orphans in the red light area of Mumbai, Kamathipura. Recently, Alia announced the film’s release date on social media and posted her poster.
While Ranbir will next be seen in his next venture Shamshera. It is a period drama set in the 1800s and is directed by Karan Malhotra. Ranbir works opposite Vaani Kapoor with Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist in this film The couple will woo audiences with Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.
