LG Wing update makes it easier to move apps between screens

LG is saying goodbye to 2020 with flying colors, releasing a new software update for the wing that brings some nice improvements to the user experience. First of all, after installing the new software, you will be able to easily move an app between the two screens by dragging it with three fingers.

In addition, the names of apps, widgets and folders are now displayed on the second home screen, the camera app supports scanning QR codes, a new screen will appear if you skip the menu Wi-Fi in the setup wizard, the 5G icon is now white instead of gray, and you also get an extensive wallpaper selection. Finally, the multimedia controls will be displayed on the second screen.

The new version is F100VM10d, at least for Verizon LG Wing units (the changelog information above is from this specific carrier). After you install it you will also have the security patch level of November 2020. We are assuming that as usual the deployment is done so it may take some time for all the units there to get the new update. Obviously, Verizon appears to be the first carrier to release it, but more should follow – as well as, hopefully, unlocked units across the world.
