Good news for millions of Apple device users around the world, the giant has started rolling out iOS 14.4.2, iPadOS 14.4.2 and a notice was released by the Cupertino-based company urging users to upgrade. Upgrade without delay to correct a security vulnerability called Webkit. Apple released the new update just three weeks after the release of iOS / iPadOS 14.4.1 and more than a month after the iOS / iPadOS 14.4 updates. IOS and iPadOS 14.4.2 updates can be downloaded for free and are available live in the Settings app. If you want to access the new software, you will need to go to Settings> General> Software Update. Apple has also started rolling out the watchOS 7.3.3 update. It is expected that all four software updates (iOS 14.4.2, iPadOs 14.4.2, iOS 12.5.2, and watchOS 7.3.3) will be available to all Apple device users starting now. Apple recently revealed that the installation of iOS 14 has increased to 86% of iPhones launched globally since 2017. The data has been posted on Apple’s developer webpage and shows that around 80% of all iPhones have been released worldwide. devices are using iOS 14, with 12% still using iOS 13 and the remaining 8% still running iOS 12 or earlier. For the iPad, 70% of all devices use iPadOS 14. The published data also showed that about 12% of all active iPhones still run iOS 13 and 2% even older iOS versions (as of Feb 24 ).
