Chavara (Kollam): A motorcyclist made a miraculous escape in a collision between a bike and a KSRTC bus. The accident took place at Thevalakkara Chenankara junction on the evening of Vishu day. The CCTV footage of a middle-aged man riding a bike escaping without a scratch went viral. The CCTV camera footage of a nearby jewelery shop was widely circulated on social media.
It is learned that a retired policeman from Koyivila escaped with his head cut off. No further details about the passenger were available. On Wednesday evening, a KSRTC bus traveling from Pathanamthitta to Kollam overturned on the Chavara-Adoor road while riding a bike from Koyivila to Thevalakkara. The locals informed the police but the case was not taken up as the passenger was not injured.
