Kovid to 12,443 today; Test positivity rate 10.22; 115 Death – Jaihind TV

Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid-19 has been confirmed for 12,443 people in Kerala today. Thiruvananthapuram 1777, Ernakulam 1557, Thrissur 1422, Malappuram 1282, Kollam 1132, Palakkad 1032, Kozhikode 806, Alappuzha 796, Kottayam 640, Kannur 527, Kasaragod 493, Pathanamthitta 433, Idukki 324 and Wayanad 222 districts were diagnosed with the disease today.

1,21,743 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate is 10.22. Routine Sample, Sentinel Sample, CB Nat, Trunat, POCT. PCR, RT A total of 2,18,53,900 samples have been tested so far, including LAMP and antigen testing.

Today, 115 deaths have been confirmed due to Kovid-19. This brings the total death toll to 11,948. Today, 78 of those diagnosed with the disease are from outside the state. 11,639 people were infected through contact. Contact sources for 653 are not clear. Thiruvananthapuram 1624, Ernakulam 1512, Thrissur 1404, Malappuram 1248, Kollam 1123, Palakkad 636, Kozhikode 795, Alappuzha 791, Kottayam 624, Kannur 463, Kasaragod 479, Pathanamthitta 422, Idukki 308 and Wayanad 210 were affected by the disease.

The disease affected 73 health workers. Kannur 15, Thrissur and Kasaragod 10 each, Thiruvananthapuram 8, Kollam 7, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam 6 each, Palakkad, Wayanad 4 each, Kottayam, Idukki and Kozhikode 1 each were affected by the disease.

A total of 13,145 people who had been diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 1659, Kollam 1398, Pathanamthitta 541, Alappuzha 1376, Kottayam 552, Idukki 533, Ernakulam 1010, Thrissur 935, Palakkad 1236, Malappuram 1560, Kozhikode 1232, Wayanad 239, Kannur 341 and Kasaragod 533 were cured. With this, 1,06,861 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 26,78,499 people have so far been freed from Kovid.

There are currently 4,55,621 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 4,27,754 are under home / institutional quarantine and 27,867 in hospitals. A total of 2282 people were newly admitted to the hospital.

TPR Based areas continue to be the same as the previous day. TPR 178 below 8, TPR. 633 between 8 and 20, TPR. 208 between 20 and 30, TPR. There are 16 local bodies above 30 and above. TPR in Local Government Areas Based testing will also be increased.

Thiruvananthapuram, Athiyannur, Azhoor, Kathinamkulam, Karode, Manampur, Mangalore, Panavoor, Pothencode, Ernakulam, Chittatukara, Palakkad, Nagalassery, Nenmara, Vallapuzha, Malappuram, Thirunavaya, Moopainad in Wayanad district, Kasaragod, Bedukka and Madhur are the most populated areas.
