Thiruvananthapuram: The Chief Minister said that the government will provide an opportunity to the relatives of those who died due to Kovid to see them closely. The government wants the dead body to be taken home at regular intervals and allowed to be seen by detainees and limited religious observances. The CM said in a press conference after the Kovid review meeting that he did not intend to spend more time at home but in less than an hour.

The CM also directed the government to suspend the process of taking loans from banks by the victims of Kovid. The mental stress of the relatives of the deceased patients needs to be alleviated. The deceased, who was affected by Kovid, may have defaulted on loans taken from various banks earlier. As part of this, the confiscation proceedings will be ordered to be stopped, he said.
