Korean star Suzy approached for Ram Charan’s next one?

It seems that Maverick Kollywood director Shankar’s fascination with international stars knows no bounds. He previously tried to convince Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the antagonist in 2.0 three years ago. And now, Shankar has reportedly approached K-pop sensation Bae Suzy for his upcoming pan-Indian film starring Ram Charan.

South Korean beauty Bae Suzy doesn’t need to be introduced to Indian moviegoers who love to watch K-pop and Korean dramas. The 26-year-old beauty also has a large fan base across India for her acclaimed films such as Architecture 101 and Ashfall and K series like While You Were Sleeping and the Dream High series.

Apparently, Shankar had already approached Bae Suzy for the role of Amy Jackson in 2.0. However, Bae reportedly turned down the offer as she felt her role didn’t matter enough. We will know very soon if Shaz Shankar really approached Bae and if she will be part of this crazy project.

The film Shankar-Ram Charan will be produced by Dil Raju, and he reportedly spent Rs 150 crore on the making of the film. Since the film will be released internationally, recouping the budget will be a snap for the star producer.
