Mumbai: Actress Kangana Ranaut has responded to a remark made by state police chief Loknath Behra ahead of her retirement. Kangana Ranaut’s response was to share a screenshot of Behra’s statement that Kerala is a recruitment base for IS militants. The actress shared the news on her Instagram story with the caption ‘Kerala Model’.
Behra had said that those in Kerala were needed by terrorist organizations because of the high level of education. Their aim is to communalise even the educated. Loknath Behra had said that he was concerned about the situation in Kerala.
In the early days of Corona, the Kerala model was discussed in the international media. However, the fact that Kerala became the state with the highest number of patients reported in the second wave of corona also led to much criticism. With the response of Kangana, the Kerala model is being discussed again at the national level.
