Varun Dhawan shut down an Instagram troll, who accused the actor of showing his “privilege.” Varun, who was busy shooting for his next film Bhediya in Arunachal Pradesh, returned to Mumbai on Wednesday evening. He was accompanied by his wife Natasha Dalal. At the airport, Varun asked the paparazzi to keep a safe distance from him and his wife as a precaution in the face of the coronavirus situation. Varun was even seen asking a photographer to put on his mask correctly. Commenting on one of these videos on Instagram, one user, who thought Varun Dhawan was on vacation with his wife, wrote: “Stop showing your privilege when people in your country die.”

Varun Dhawan was quick to spot the comment and decided to set the record straight. Responding to the troll, he wrote: “Well your guess is wrong. I was shooting my movie and not on vacation. And what do you mean” gave them a chance? How don’t you give them a chance? I have people who have also lost their lives in covid. So, keep your assumptions to yourself. “
