Alappuzha: KCA Royals won the Kerala Cricket Association President’s Cup Twenty20 tournament. In the final, KCA beat the Eagles by 6 wickets. Score: Eagles – 142 for 8 in 20 overs. Royals 144 for 4 in 18 overs.

Batting first, the Eagles got off to a good start with openers Robin Krishna and Ashwin Anand. The duo put on 44 for the first wicket. MS Akhil (38) and S Subin (30 off 16 balls) were the main contributors to the Eagles’ score of 142 in the final overs.

In reply, Krishnaprasad (81) and KN Harikrishnan smashed the Royals to victory. The duo put on 102 for the second wicket. Krishnaprasad was the Man of the Match for his unbeaten 81 off 55 balls.

The KCA President’s Cup Twenty20 Cup, which has been held at the SD College Grounds, Alappuzha for the last 6 years, was completed following the Kovid protocol. All conditions for outside contact of players and coaches were eliminated. All matches were live-streamed, although spectators were not given access.
