The Rajasthan Royals unveiled their 2021 IPL jersey with a spectacular light show at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Sunday night. The franchise set up a giant screen in the stadium for the unveiling, which had a video edit, followed by a 3D projection of a few stars from Rajasthan to New Jersey. While many teams launched their new jerseys for the coming season, the general consensus on Twitter was that this was the best jersey unveiling by an Indian Premier League (IPL) team to date.

The Rajasthan Royals team are currently in Mumbai, where they will play their first 2021 IPL game against the Punjab Kings at Wankhede Stadium on April 12.
Sawai Mansingh Stadium will not host any matches in IPL 2021. The tournament will only be played in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Each team will play at four venues during the league phase. Of the 56 league matches, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru will host 10 matches each, while Ahmedabad and Delhi will each host eight.
All matches will be played on neutral venues, no team will play on their home site, the IPL board said when the schedule was announced.
Promoted
Rajasthan Royals had a dismal exit at IPL 2020, held in the United Arab Emirates. The team finished at the bottom of the table with just six wins in 14 matches.
RR has given up on some big names like Steve Smith with the young Sanju Samson who is given the reins of the team.
