The iPhone SE 3, the successor to the iPhone SE (2020), may not launch this year. According to one tipster, the purported iPhone SE 3 could launch in 2022. New information regarding the as yet unannounced iPhone SE 3 display specifications has also been leaked online. Tipster Ross Young tweeted that the next iPhone SE LCD, which would be called iPhone SE 3, could be launched next year. The tipster also suggests that the phone may have a small 4.7-inch form factor, to appeal to customers who prefer a smaller screen. The tipster goes on to say that Apple is also working on an additional variant of the iPhone SE that could launch in 2023. This model is likely to have a large 6.1-inch display with a perforated display rather than the notch. seen on current generation iPhone models.
Concept renders of the iPhone SE 3 leaked some time ago also suggest that the next-gen LCD model may have a punch-hole display, as well as thin bezels. The phone also appears to have a flat bezel that resembles the iPhone 12 series design. On the back, the iPhone SE 3 renderings show a single camera sensor, along with an LED flash. This is similar to iPhone SE and iPhone SE (2020). However, the renderings show no home button. It was mentioned that there might be Touch ID fingerprint recognition on the power key similar to the latest iPad Air.
