Highest Coronavirus Cases In India In One-Day Live Updates: Has the second wave of coronavirus peaked in India? Is that it or the situation will deteriorate further? The Allahabad High Court has also called on the government of Uttar Pradesh to consider the lockdown, especially in areas of surge. The most disturbing news today is the prevalence of the double mutant virus and its possible link to the latest wave of Covid. An Indian Express report said more than 60% of cases in Maharashtra showed the “double mutant” strain. They also say the link to the sharp rise in corona cases in Maharashtra cannot be completely ruled out.
