Karachi: Young wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant made a remarkable performance for India in the Test series against England. Rishabh scored 270 runs in 6 innings at an average of 54. He hit 32 fours and 10 sixes, including one century and two fifties. The century (101) in the fourth Test gave India a commanding lead and an innings win. Many celebrities have come out praising Rishabh’s batting. Now, former Pakistan captain and legend Inzamam-ul-Haq has also praised Rishabh.
Inzamam-ul-Haq said it was as if Virender Sehwag was batting with his left hand when he saw Rishabh batting. ‘Rishabh Pant is a very talented player. After a long time, I saw a player who was not affected by stress at all. With 146 runs for the loss of six wickets, he started his innings like no other.
He plays to his style. He does not stop to respect the pitch or think about the score taken by the opposing team. Can deal with spin and fast alike. I really enjoyed his batting. It felt like Sehwag was batting with his left hand, ”Inzamam said.

I have played with Sehwag. If he is batting he will not think of anything else. He doesn’t care about the nature of the pitch or the bowlers on the opposing team. He will play in his own style even if the fielders are lined up at the boundary line. Inzamam said that only Rishabh had seen such an attitude after Sehwag.
He shined not only in India but also in Australia. India had Tendulkar and Dravid. Now there are Kohli and Rohit. But Inzamam said that the way Rishabh is playing is a confidence booster. Rishabh is set to replace MS Dhoni as India’s wicketkeeper.
Rishabh, who played 20 Tests for India, scored 1358 runs at an average of 45.26. This will include three centuries and six half-centuries. Rishabh Pant is the second wicket-keeper to score a century in England, Australia and India. Earlier, former Australia wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist claimed the award.
