Priyadarshan returns with a Bollywood remake of the 1994 super hit movie Minnaram. The trailer of the movie titled Hungama 2 has been released. Mohanlal, Shobhana, Thilakan, Jagathy Sreekumar and many more will be in the cast of Meenaram Hindi.

The movie will be released on July 23 through Disney Hotstar. It is reported that Hot Star has acquired the rights to the film for Rs 30 crore. Priyadarshan is coming out with a film after a gap of six years in Bollywood. Priyadarshan has previously stated that this is not a sequel to the hugely successful Hungama released in 2003.

Akshay Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Aftab Sivadasani and Rimi Sen have teamed up for a remake of Hungama Priyan’s Cat Nose. Priyadarshan Mohanlal’s Marakkar Arabian Sea Lion is all set to release on August 12 for the Onam release.
