HMD Global has scheduled an event today where there are plans to launch new Nokia smartphones. The launch event will take place later today at 7:30 p.m. IST. There are reports suggesting that up to six Nokia phones are being released today.
HMD Global has yet to tease any phones or give any hints on what to expect. But there have been leaks and rumors about the upcoming Nokia phones. The expected lineup includes the Nokia X10, X20, C20, G20 and G10. Starting with the Nokia C20, this phone was recently spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website. It should come with up to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone will most likely run Android 11 out of the box.
The Nokia G20 and G10 are said to be among the first phones with the new Nokia phone naming scheme this year. The Nokia G10 is rumored to come with MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor, 3GB of RAM and run Android 11 out of the box. It could also feature a 6.4 inch LCD screen. As for the Nokia G20, it should be powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
The Nokia G20 and G10 are said to have a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Both phones are also reportedly equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera and a 5,000mAh battery.
The Nokia X10 and X20 are expected to be 5G smartphones powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 processor, 6GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The Nokia X20 is also expected to feature a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel main camera and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging.
