Google Pixel Watch returns images online after company announces Pixel 5a

Google is working on its first smartwatch. The Google Pixel Watch is expected to launch in October 2021. Ahead of the launch, render images for the upcoming smartwatch were leaked by tipster Jon Prosser.

Prosser claims the Pixel Watch was internally named Rohan. It will come with a bezel-less screen. The round screen will meet the watch case for that premium look. It will also have a button on the right edge, which is probably a power / function key. The watch will be available in black and silver case models with almost 20 different straps to choose from.

Prosser further claims that the smartwatch will come with Google’s WearOS operating system. The tipster didn’t reveal many details about the device’s specifications or features. However, the pictures reveal that the watch’s user interface will have a minimal design for the heart rate monitoring system.

As a Pixel Watch, the smartwatch is also likely to integrate with other Google apps and services like navigation, search, etc. In case you were wondering, the Pixel smartwatch will come with Google Assistant support.

Prosser doesn’t have the exact date but says Google will unveil the smartwatch in October 2021.
