Doha: Qatar’s Ministry of Higher Education Assistant Undersecretary Fouzia Al Qadir has said that full marks will be awarded for three subjects that cannot be tested in the event of schools being closed as part of efforts to prevent the spread of corona.
The government has closed educational institutions in Qatar since March 10 to prevent the spread of Kovid-19. Fouzia Al Qadir told Qatar TV that students returning to school after the mid-term break of the second semester will not be tested for the remaining subjects. If classes are suspended, learning can continue at home using virtual technology. She said the practice was familiar to all students, teachers and parents as electronic education had been introduced in schools since 2011.
